For the past quarter century, I’ve survived being a chubby Catholic Italian boy from the Bronx. On weekends and summers, my family escaped the chaos of the City for our Long Island country house, where we enjoyed the peaceful simplicity of Fourth of July barbecues and salty but sandy days at the beach. Moving to Putnam County during my elementary years, we shifted into suburban life. I earned my BA in English, a minor in Religious Studies, and my MS in Urban & Multicultural Education at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY. I currently work as an adolescent behavioral and academic stabilizing engineer—that is, a public middle school English teacher in the Bronx and as my parish’s youth minister. I love music (especially Motown), movies (romantic comedies, dramas, mysteries, adventures), and writing. In my free time I enjoy dabbling in the creation of poetry, long and short prose, song lyrics, and playwriting in a variety of genres. "Ooo baby, here I am, signed, sealed, delivered.
