I am in my third year of undergraduate studies, doing an honors major in philosophy. I am almost completely set on law school after that, although there is a chance I might opt for grad school. As a career I would like to work to create a properly limited government (in America), whether that be as a practicing lawyer or teaching law or philosophy. My main interests are philosophy, politics, and economics, but I also like science, especially biology. What I do "for fun" is mostly reading about and discussing that stuff. But, I also like to do fencing (I have just started), and all kinds of outdoor activities. I love romance. I love good art, flowers, animals, and the mountains.My favorite books are the Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Quo Vadis?, and Human Action. In terms of music I like stuff that takes a lot of skill, so I of course listen to a lot of classical music. Two modern singers I like are Josh Groban and Celine Dion (although not all of her stuff). I am optimistic, but realistic, and I really value that in others. I like people who are particularly open to discussing ideas. Oh, and I should probably describe myself physically a bit; I have long brown hair, brown eyes, straight teeth and do indeed visit the gym quite frequently. The reason I joined this website is simply that I find meeting guys I truly see myself with very difficult. Hopefully this will make things a bit easier for me. I am looking for someone who endorses certain aspects of libertarianism, consistently. I believe the only role the government should have is the military, the police (and only used when force is initated against someone), and the law courts. I would like someone who not only believes these things, but who also believes that there is an intellectual justification for them, rather than a faith based one.
